Vienna is the capital of Austria and is known for its rich history, architecture and musical culture. It is the most important city on the Danube, and its location in the heart of Europe has always been a crossroads of cultures.

Vienna's historic centre shouts out its past as the capital of a great empire and conveys its cultural sophistication at every turn. Indeed, one of the main attractions is the majestic Schoenbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Austrian imperial family.

The Vienna Museum of Military History, on the other hand, is one of the city's most interesting museums, known for its extensive collection of weaponry, uniforms, and objects relating to Austria's military history, including that of both World Wars. Many others dedicated to personalities such as Mozart, Freud or the Empress Sisi attract specific audiences.

The Austrian capital is marked by its influential Habsburg past. The Vienna State Opera is one of the world's most iconic opera houses, known for its impressive architecture and rich musical history. Founded in 1869, it has been home to many of the most important works in opera history and has been the stage for some of the most famous opera singers of all time.

The Austrian Parliament, on the other hand, is the political centre of Austria. With its impressive neo-Gothic architecture and rich history, the building is a symbol of Austrian democracy. The Austrian Parliament is home to the National Assembly and houses some of Vienna's most impressive rooms, including the Chamber of Deputies and the Hall of Lions.
